OVIVO MOBILE APPOINTS THREE NON-EXEC DIRECTORS
AS £150K CALL FOR INVESTMENT CLOSES
Heavyweight business experts boost MVNOs prospects for growth
OVIVO has announced the appointment of three new non-executive directors to support its ambitious plans for future growth: finance expert James Longley; advertising and marketing veteran Martin Smith and mobile and digital entrepreneur and author Tony Fish.
Launched in April 2012, OVIVO Mobile provides freedom from monthly contracts by giving customers free usage each month supported by a range of advertising, mobile commerce and value added services.
The new NEDs will add their extensive complimentary skills and expertise in finance, marketing and technology to the considerable mobile industry experience of founder and CEO Dariush Zand and Chairman David Jones, a 20-year plus Vodafone executive.
The appointments come as OVIVO Mobile closes its £150,000 call for investment via equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube.com on Sunday, March 17.
Dariush Zand, OVIVO Mobile CEO and founder, said: I am flattered that James, Martin and Tony have agreed to put their time and reputation behind OVIVO. It speaks volumes for our prospects and I dont believe that we could have chosen a better team.
We are one of the only operators in the world to use a business model of this nature, where we focus on driving revenue from value added services, as opposed to from the service itself.
All the while, we maintain a quality customer experience and, though the service is great value, we do not compromise on quality or care.
